Sarah & Brendon's Magical Wedding at Stanford Farm

Kiwi flair and a view of the Northern Lights

On October 5th, 2024, Sarah and Brendon tied the knot in an unforgettable celebration at Stanford Farm. With an international theme reflecting the groom's New Zealand roots, the day was filled with heartfelt moments, delicious food, and a dash of Kiwi flair.

Brendon, hailing from New Zealand, and his family brought a touch of their homeland to the event. Guests were treated to a unique experience that beautifully wove together Sarah and Brendon's story. From the start, the wedding radiated warmth, love, and a sense of adventure that truly honoured their international connection.

Kemp & Kemp Catering served up a delightful two-course wedding breakfast that left guests raving. In the evening, Sunflower Pizza took over, offering mouth-watering pizzas that were perfect for a relaxed and festive vibe.

The couple ensured every moment of the day was filled with joy and entertainment. A talented daytime singer set a romantic tone, while band "The Spectrum" kept the dance floor alive with energy in the evening. The music perfectly complemented the day’s celebratory spirit.

One of the standout details of the day was the creative, personal touches. Sarah and Brendon opted for handmade place cards and table names crafted from Scrabble tiles, which charmed everyone in attendance. Staying true to the international theme, there was a table overflowing with Kiwi snacks and even an “official” dictionary of New Zealand slang, offering guests a fun glimpse into Brendon’s heritage.

Adding to the personal touches, the wedding cake was made by Kate, one of the couple’s guests. This sweet gesture added an extra layer of love and thoughtfulness to the day.

Despite a forecast hinting at rain, the weather cooperated, creating a beautiful backdrop for the festivities. As the day turned to night, the clear skies gifted the guests with a rare and breath-taking glimpse of the Northern Lights — a moment of wonder that no one will soon forget.

The celebration didn’t stop with the wedding day. On Sunday, the family gathered once again for a relaxed BBQ afternoon, giving everyone the chance to unwind and savour more time together.

Sarah and Brendon’s wedding at Stanford Farm was a perfect mix of love, culture, and personal touches that made it truly one-of-a-kind. From handmade details to magical skies, it was a day filled with memories that will last a lifetime.

You guys are all total legends! Thank you for making our day perfect
— Sarah (Bride)
