Meet the team

Cindy Edwards is the 4th generation of the Edwards family to be living at Stanford Farm.

She returned to the farm in 2010 after selling property in Spain for 10 years. She then turned her passion for football, parties and events into a career, which included the Stanstock 7’s annual women’s football tournament, LFEST, which is a 3-day festival for 1000 women and LFEST del Mar, a 7 day festival in Spain. She has been awarded numerous awards over the past ten years and is a very skilled event organiser.

Cindy is definitely an extraordinary organiser with great vision and capabilities. She is a great team leader and from her 10 years as a festival director, she has a little black book of knowledge and contacts and will help you find suppliers and entertainers to suit your requirements. She likes nothing better than making your dreams come true and she loves to ‘YES’ to your ideas.

From being a ‘one woman band’ in 2016, Cindy has gathered a remarkable, award winning, team of wedding professionals.

Keith Blindell , who came in as Events Operational Manager in 2022. Keith has previously worked on the cruise ships and also worked at Rowton Castle Hotel as a Wedding and Events Manager. He will meet you and your guests on the first day of your 3-day wedding and will be on hand to help you throughout your wedding to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Rebecca Lee, ably assists Keith with the running of the events, in particular the bar area. She is multi-talented and a great organiser, she has previously run her own club in Shrewsbury.

Temporary Staff – we have a great band of young, enthusiastic and energetic teenagers, including Keith’s daughter and her friends, who are a delight to work with.

In the Office, we have Joanne Moody who is our Wedding coordinator, who is your point of contact once you have chosen your date. She will keep you on track, answer your questions, help you out when you feel that you are struggling with organising a wedding. Just send an email and she will get back to you.

Also in the office are Gill and John Hughes, Gill ably assists Cindy with the Sales and Marketing, answering all enquiries and arranging viewings as well as keeping an eye on the accounts. She also worked At Rowton Castle as a wedding coordinator with Keith for many years.

John is our accommodation bookings and website manager; he is such an asset to the team although he likes to stay in the background quietly working on his computer.

Sylvia is head of housekeeping and is a human dynamo, she is always full of energy and nothing is too much trouble. She makes sure the farmhouse, and all the accommodation is sparkling clean ready for your visit. She is also a great dog sitter, when Cindy wants a break from the farm.

Outside we have Uncle Clive and Reanda, they are so proud of the farm and love to see the lawns cut with everything tidy and in its place. They are also very good at fullfilling Cindy’s ideas/plans, whether it is converting the double decker bus or organising larger outdoor projects. In 2024, they both we instrumental in getting the New Lane project to fruition

Sue and Nicky are also part of the team, Sue for guiding the business as a Non-Executive Director and keeps the team focused and Nicky also helps out with the events whether it is behind the bar or serving canapes
