General questions …
1. How Long Can I Provisionally Hold a Date For?
You can reserve a date for 7 days with no deposit
2. How Many Guests Can You Accommodate in the Day and the Evening?
We have a license for a maximum of 200 people.
3. Is the Venue Licensed for Civil Ceremonies?
Yes we are a licensed venue, with The Stables (100), The Cowhouse (200) and The Lakside (200) all licensed for the ceremony.
4. Is the Wedding Venue Available for Exclusive Hire?
Yes all our bookings are exclusive use hire
5. What Staff are Included In the Price
We provide an events manager for the day to ensure everything runs smoothly. We also provide a fully staffed bar and security.
6. Do I Have to Use Your Recommended Suppliers?
Not at all, we suggest some to help you but you can bring in whoever you would like.
7. Do You Have Accommodation On-Site?
Yes we have accommodation for 28 people. The Farmhouse (12), Four hobbit huts sleeping 2 each, Double Decker Bus (6), Shepherds Hut (2) - we will give you a booking link to enable your guests to book and pay online.
8. Is There Enough Parking for All Our Guests?
Yes that's not a problem
The Ceremony
9. Are There Areas For Both of Us to Get Ready in the Morning?
Yes if you hire two sets of accommodation then you both can get ready in a different area
10. What is the Changeover Plan From Ceremony to Reception Room?
We don’t need to do this unless you get married in The Cowhouse, Most couples use The Stables, The Lakeside or the Celtic Knot for the ceremony
11. How Flexible are You With Timings of the Day?
Very! It’s your day
12. Are There any Décor Restrictions?
No, again it’s your day to decorate how you would like
13. Are Fireworks/Confetti Allowed?
Confetti must be biodegradable (preferrably petals) and unfortunately confetti canons are not permitted. Fireworks are not allowed as our immeriate neighbours have horses.
The Wedding Breakfast
14. Do You Offer Catering or do we bring in our own?
You bring your own suppliers, we can recommend caterers to suit your budget and taste.
16. Are Crockery, Glasses and Linen For the Reception Included in the Price?
No, The caterers may arrange this or you can hire it from Tipples. You will want to have your own unique table dressings.
17. What Size Tables Do You Have?
We don't supply tables you can hire them from Tipples & get free table hire with chairs.
18. Is There a Cake-Cutting Fee? Do You Provide Cake-Cutting Utensils
No, Ask your caterers, they will arrange this
The Evening Reception
20. Can You Accommodate a Live Band or DJ? When Can They Set Up?
Yes we love to see you party and include a stage and dance floor
21. What are Your Bar Prices and is it Cash Only?
We accept Cash & Card, prices are very reasonable.
22. Could We Plug an iPhone into Your Sound System?
Yes we have a speaker for your use with a microphone for speeches
23. What Time Will Our Evening Reception Need to Finish?
On a Weekend Band until 11pm, Bar & DJ until 1am. On a weekday, all to finish by 11pm ( We can request an extension if required)

24. Do You Have Disabled Access?
Yes, we have ramps into the barns and have a accessible toilet
25. How Many Toilets are There?
We have two toilet blocks with three in each and urinals and two showers.
Pricing and Payment
26. How Much Will the Initial Deposit Be and When is the Final Payment Due?
Our deposit is £1000, payments are then made either in block payments, monthly direct debit or a discount if paid all up front.
27. Is VAT Included in the Prices Given to Us?
Yes it is included.
28. Are There Any Extra Charges For Staff/Cleaning/Room Hire that Aren’t Included in the Prices Given to Us?
No there isn’t. You must leave the barns as you found them and clear away any rubbish. Our cleaners with hoover & mop.
29. Are There Any Venue Restrictions?
No! Well within reason, we want to say yes to all your requests not no!
30. Do You Have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes, we do
