Jen & Wendy's Wedding at Stanford Farm, Shropshire - 26th October 2024

Animals Everywhere!

The wedding bells rang loud and clear for Jen and Wendy as they celebrated their special day on at Stanford Farm in Shropshire. With its rustic charm and vibrant atmosphere, the venue was the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and a delightful animal-themed twist!

From the moment guests arrived, the unique animal theme wove its way through every detail of the celebration. The whimsy began with Jen’s waistcoat and extended to the flower girls’ adorable dresses, table runners, napkins, and even the animal place settings. The theme culminated in a spectacular cake, lovingly crafted by a friend, which featured intricate animal designs that perfectly matched the day’s vibe.

The skies blessed the day with bright sunshine, adding to the joy of the occasion. While most couples turn to professional florists, Jen and Wendy opted for a personal touch by creating their own floral arrangements. The result was stunning, with vibrant blooms that added a fresh and personal feel to the ceremony and reception spaces.

The Wedding Pizza Company kept everyone’s spirits high and taste buds satisfied throughout the day. Guests were treated to delicious pizzas during the day and hearty sausage and bacon baps in the evening, ensuring no one left hungry.

JDS Events Hire brought the fun with their 9-hole mini golf course, keeping guests of all ages entertained. As the evening rolled on, the talented band "Break The Record" took to the stage, filling the venue with music and getting everyone on their feet to dance the night away.

One of the day’s most touching highlights came after the ceremony, in the cosy Bull Bar. Two of Jen and Wendy’s “first cousins” spontaneously sat at the piano and played a heartfelt duet. Completely unrehearsed, this off-the-cuff performance created a truly magical moment that everyone in attendance will cherish forever.

The guestbook idea was another crowd favourite, adding a playful element to the proceedings. Guests took Polaroid pictures of themselves wearing animal masks, creating fun and memorable snapshots for the couple to treasure for years to come.

Jen and Wendy’s wedding was a day full of love, joy, and creativity. From the animal-themed details to the incredible moments shared between family and friends, their celebration was as unique as their bond. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for the newlyweds!
