May 4th 2024 - Louisa & Ewan's Enchanting Wedding

On a glorious sunny and warm Saturday, the 4th of May 2024, Stanford Farm in Shropshire set the scene for the wedding of Louisa and Ewan, a celebration brimming with love, laughter, and a touch of magic. The farm's rustic charm was the perfect backdrop for their boho-themed wedding, accentuated by glittering disco balls and a nod to the couple’s unique love story that began on a train journey.

As guests arrived, they were greeted by the stunning sight of Stanford Farm bathed in warm sunlight, its natural beauty complemented by bohemian decorations. The setting was both relaxed and elegant, with whimsical touches that reflected Louisa and Ewan's personalities and shared interests.

The day’s culinary delights were a highlight, with A&A Catering providing delicious sharing boards during the daytime festivities. Guests indulged in a variety of exquisite dishes, perfectly suited for the relaxed, communal atmosphere. As day turned to evening, The Beefy Boys took over, serving up their renowned burgers that kept everyone fueled for the night ahead.

Music played a central role in the celebration, starting with the soulful tunes of Jordan Brown Acoustic during the day. As the evening progressed, Clun Ukulele brought a charming and lively performance that had everyone tapping their feet. The night reached its crescendo with the electrifying beats of the Liam Price Band, ensuring the dance floor was packed until the very end.

A particularly endearing touch was the seating plan, designed to resemble tickets from the train journey where Louisa and Ewan first met. Each table was named after a stop from that journey, allowing guests to share in a significant part of their love story. This unique element added a personal and nostalgic touch to the day.

The magic moment of the wedding was undoubtedly the couple’s first dance. As Louisa and Ewan took to the dance floor, indoor pyrotechnics lit up the room, creating a dazzling spectacle that left everyone in awe. It was a breathtaking sight, capturing the essence of their love and the joy of the occasion.

Louisa and Ewan's wedding at Stanford Farm was a perfect blend of romance, fun, and personal touches. From the boho decorations and disco balls to the heartfelt nod to their train journey beginning, every detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. It was a day that guests will remember fondly, a true testament to the love and happiness shared by the happy couple.

On my birthday in 2017, I blew out the candles on my cake and made a wish and today, that wish has come true.
— Louisa (Bride)
