Love, Rain, and Magical Moments in the Heart of Shropshire

Stanford Farm in the picturesque county of Shropshire recently played host to the wedding of Catriona and Emma, a celebration that exuded the vibrant spirit of a festival. Amidst the occasional showers, the radiant couple embraced a unique theme, adorned with festival flags, fairy lights, and an abundance of IPA, creating an atmosphere of joyous revelry.

The festivities commenced with an enchanting ceremony that perfectly blended love, laughter (and the blessings of a little rain). As the guests gathered under a stunning canopy of festival flags, the warm ambiance of Stanford Farm provided an intimate setting for the exchanging of vows.

Mother Nature, true to form, sprinkled a few showers throughout the day. Yet, rather than dampen spirits, the rain only added to the magical aura of the occasion. As the German tradition holds, each drop of rain on a wedding day symbolizes a day of happiness in married life. Embracing this belief, the newlyweds and their guests embraced the showers, cherishing them as a sign of good fortune for their future together.

ANA Catering, renowned for their culinary mastery, catered the event, tantalizing the taste buds of the attendees with a delectable array of dishes. Among the highlights were the mouthwatering mackerel pate, succulent chicken, and a much-needed full English breakfast the morning after the celebrations. The carefully curated menu delighted the senses and ensured that every guest's culinary desires were satisfied.

A festival-style wedding wouldn't be complete without an unforgettable soundtrack, and The Trends Party Band did not disappoint. Their vibrant performances, pulsating beats, and infectious energy had everyone on their feet, creating an electrifying atmosphere that transformed the farm into a swirling dance floor. The music set the tone for a night of revelry and celebration, as the jubilant crowd danced the night away, sharing in the couple's joyous union.

Amidst the festivities, a magical moment unfolded when guest Nina, a talented bass player, took to the stage to deliver a heartfelt musical performance just before the speeches. As the gentle strums of the bass resonated through the air, an indescribable emotion filled the hearts of all those present, leaving a lasting imprint on the memory of the newlyweds and their loved ones.

Reflecting on their unforgettable wedding day, Catriona and Emma expressed their gratitude to everyone who had shared in their joyous celebration. The couple's chosen theme and the natural beauty of Stanford Farm created the perfect backdrop for their union, allowing their love to shine even brighter.

As the festival-style wedding came to a close, the echoes of laughter, the melodies of music, and the camaraderie forged on that memorable day would forever be cherished in the hearts of Catriona and Emma. Their magical celebration was a testament to the power of love, the resilience of the human spirit, and the joy that can be found even in the midst of a shower.

Indeed, their wedding at Stanford Farm was a day of happiness, a day where love triumphed, and a day that will forever be etched in the annals of their shared journey.

Review from Catriona & Emma - May 2023

Happiest Day of our Lives

We got married at Stanford Farm on 6th May 2023 and we had such a wonderful day. The relaxed, festival vibe was exactly what we wanted and Keith went above and beyond to help us throughout, from prep the day before, on the day itself and on the clean-up the day after. We were able to decorate the venue to suit us - using lots of props from their prop stop. Our guests loved the venue and said it was the most fun they’d had at a wedding. The weather wasn’t totally on our side but it really didn’t matter on the day. Cindy, Keith and all the staff at Stanford Farm were lovely and attentive. Would highly recommend this venue!!
